The gardens and the peace and quiet. It is very different from staying in the usual type of hotel and made a lovely change.
The gardens although lovely needed a little bit of care, particularly the garden furniture which was a bit on the scruffy..

There was little to like except the location.
I did not like the communal breakfast. I did not like the fact there was no acess to any drnks or snacks. I did not like anything about this 'hotel' except the location.

location if very good though a 15 minute walk to the action in town. best tapas bar in town is a block away. plumbing needs some work, linens were the best thing about the hotel. it is small, feels very much like a home. would return.

Lovely old building in good location in old town. Garden large and probably lovely-recovering from storm when we there.
Parking not great and not easy to find. Our Sat Nav threw a fit!

Quaint and quiet location, helpful and friendly staff. Parking nearby in the street. Ours was a city visit to Ronda, in carnival but we didn't want the all night noise, so this hotel at 600 meters was ideal. Pleasant gardens and 500 year old church next door. Hotel was very quiet.
Guests should know that The heating is controlled by the hotel. If your room is not warm, you need to ask them to put it on. It was cold on our visit but situation was resolved.

The setting, gardens, view and ambience of this charming old guest house are fabulous .
The heating system didnt work, the shower was broken, and the breakfast consisted of one fried egg, a piece of toast and coffee. The owner acted as though he was terribly sorry about the problems but did not reduce our charges which were high compared with many other more lovely places we stayed at in both cities and small towns in Andalucia.

The setting and convenience for the city. the views from the gardens
The hotel needs refurbishment - health and safety is at risk - electrical fittings caused sparks and nearly injured my husband - a large light fitting fell on him during the night, bathrooms old . breakfast room dismal. Did not meet the standards set out in your site - wifi access, minibar and safe were not present in our room. Swimming pool in desparate need of clean -dread to think what diseases you would get by swimming in it. Extremely disappointed as had arranged special trip to treat our son and his fiancee based on your recommendations.

Being the only guests we were offered the suite. Although all rooms are more than perfect with beautiful furnishing, the suite has garden view which is recommendable when you want to spend some time in your room. You book this hotel when you want to have a hotel in the old city with style appropriate to the city. The owner showed us a restaurant just outside the wall on the square which has a more than perfect price-quality balance (Bodega San Francisco).
No complain, but to find the hotel just drive through the gate of the city wall at the roundabout.

It is an exceptional hotel. Small, charming and with kind hosts. The garden is truly a delight and a great place for breakfast. It is well located in Ronda about a 5 minute walk from the classic bridge. I can recommend it fully.

We were pleased with the location, near enough to facilities, but just outside the main area. Had problems finding you, perhaps you could put on your details, that you are actually located with in the old walls.Once we had located you, everything was very enjoyable, room clean, although lighting was limited, and also mirrors (for the ladies). Breakfast was adequate (for us), and the lady on the desk, most helpful. All in all a comfortable stay, and we hope Hose Marie, enjoyed his chicken for dinner, once he had caught it. Regards Sandra & Clement Addison.

This is a gem of a place. The location is great, on the outskirts of the old town but just a short walk into the centre of town. The building itself is full of character, and the gardens are a beautiful place to relax with spectacular view across the hills. It is only fair to the owner and staff to give this hotel a good review, but there is a part of me that would like to keep it secret!!!
